Indoor Activities for Kids During the Polar Vortex of Doom: Part 1 The Blanket Fort

If you and the kids are stuck inside because of the recent extremely low temperatures a.k.a. The Polar Vortex of Doom, here are some ideas to keep the family entertained.

PART 1 – The Blanket Fort

Round up all the blankets, sheets, pillows, couch cushions, and chairs to build a mega fort to hide out in and stay nice and cozy!  Extra bonus for string lights to light the inside! Here are a few that are pretty cool:
